Beyond the idea stage, into validation.

Built and operating

A functioning system is built and running today: laser vibrometry resonance mapping paired with our protocol generation software. Our early measurements show that Romaine lettuce and broccoli have categorically different resonance signatures — direct evidence that crop-specific tuning is both real and necessary.

Intellectual property

A provisional patent on the core method was filed in August 2025. The Green Sounds trademark was published in the Official Trademark Gazette on April 7, 2026.

Federal validation

The National Science Foundation reviewed our Project Pitch and invited a full Phase I SBIR proposal, which we submitted in July 2026. If awarded, it represents $305,000 in non-dilutive funding for our validation program.

A decision is expected within five to seven months.

  • Donald Danforth Plant Science Center — one of the leading independent plant science institutes in the United States, and the prospective site of our proof-of-concept and validation trials

  • Agnetix — controlled-environment growing systems

What's next

Expanding the Crop Resonant Library across additional commercial crops, converting our provisional patent to a full non-provisional filing, and beginning validation trials.
