From Hypothesis to Impact
Green Sounds is currently in the Validation Phase. We are translating decades of academic theory into a commercially scalable technology through rigorous, data-driven testing. We are moving beyond anecdotal evidence to establish the molecular and phenotypic ground truth of acoustic biostimulation.
Strategic Partnerships
Donald Danforth Plant Science Center To validate our core technology, Green Sounds has secured a partnership with the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center—the world’s largest independent non-profit plant science research institute.
The Mission: We are utilizing their Bellwether Foundation Phenotyping Facility to conduct controlled, high-throughput trials.
The Data: These trials will utilize Ionomics (nutrient density profiling) and Hyperspectral Imaging to quantify the exact physiological impact of our acoustic protocols on crop yield and nutritional content.
Grant & Research Roadmap
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has invited us to submit a proposal for the NSF SBIR Phase I program (America's Seed Fund).
The Focus: Our proposal focuses on the development of "Audio Fertilizer"—using acoustic pressure to replace chemical inputs.
The Goal: We are aligning our R&D with federal priorities to increase agricultural output while reducing the environmental load of nitrogen and phosphorus runoff.
Ecosystem & Roots
San Diego Innovation Economy Born out of the neuroscience and biotech corridors of UC San Diego, Green Sounds is headquartered in the heart of the Southern California AgTech ecosystem.
The Network: We are leveraging San Diego’s unique position as both a global biotech hub and the nation's leader in small-scale, high-value agriculture (having more small farms than any other county in the US).
The Advisors: We are actively collaborating with experts in plant physiology, marine biology, and acoustics from the UCSD academic community.
What’s Next?
We are currently securing pilot programs with commercial greenhouse operators for Q3 2026.
