Founder & CEO

Daniel is the Founder and CEO of Green Sounds, a deep AgTech company pioneering the use of bioacoustics in commercial agriculture. As a recipient of the National Science Foundation’s GRFP award, he is currently finalizing his PhD in Neuroscience at UC San Diego, where his research restructured our understanding of the amygdala. Combining this rigorous scientific background with a JD from the Northwestern University School of Law—where he specialized in intellectual property and business law—Daniel is deeply passionate about sustainable agriculture. Sound will change how we grow food, forever. He is actively expanding the Green Sounds team, seeking aligned investors, strategic partners, and key early employees to join this mission

Ryan Sema

As the Founder and CEO of RNS Acoustics, Ryan leads a top-tier engineering firm specializing in environmental acoustics and advanced sensing platforms. With an extensive background in electronic design and commercial hardware, he has engineered acoustic solutions for some of the world's most demanding organizations, including the U.S. Navy, SpaceX, Amazon, and the City of San Diego.

Charlotte Blank

Charlotte Blank is a marketing leader and consumer psychology expert who currently serves as the North America Director of the Defender and Discovery brands at Jaguar Land Rover North America. She has held leadership roles across the media and automotive industries and was one of the first Chief Behavioral Officers in the corporate sector. Charlotte holds degrees from Emory University and Harvard Business School and maintains a personal interest in consciousness and the mysteries of the mind.

Les Kacev

Les Kacev is a technology executive and leading expert in solid-state lighting for Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). He has pioneered the development of horticultural lighting spectra tailored to specific plant growth phases. Les previously served as COO of horticultural lighting company LED Bloom and currently drives agricultural business strategy at Dotlight. A recognized industry leader, he serves on the horticultural lighting standards committee for the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and holds an MBA from UCLA.

Currently Associate General Counsel, ESG at Motive, where he leads Environmental, Social & Governance programs to foster sustainable growth and operational transparency. Former machine learning coordinator and legal subject matter expert for IBM Watson's legal industry applications, prior roles in energy and natural resources law.

The Danforth

The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center is the leading center for the study of plants in the United States, and has full service growing, harvest, and data analysis facilities. They will be the home of our PoC and validation studies.
